I have loved animals all my life! Growing up on the Jersey Shore, my family always had pets! We had dogs, frogs, hamsters, fish, you name it! In addition, my family helped raise puppies for The Seeing Eye, which is an organization in NJ that provides guide dogs for blind folks. I worked for years for the Accokeek Foundation in Accokeek, Maryland which cared for heritage breed livestock animals. That was a cool job where I got to care for lots of different animals, such as sheep, cows, turkeys, and chickens.

I live in Los Angeles, CA with my wife Kristen and our chihuahuas Ollie and Bruno. You’ll see lots of pictures of them on this website!

I love getting to meet new dogs and spend time learning their unique personalities. Each and every pup I meet has his or her own little language they speak and schedule they follow. I believe it’s up to me to adapt to their needs and make sure that they are met. Adaptability, flexibility, and patience are at the core of my approach to caring for your pup. I adapt to their needs: Their schedule, their walking pace, their affection/attention needs. I am flexible: I know dogs are just like people, they have high energy and low energy days. They have days where they’re extra hungry or super sleepy. I’ll meet them where they are and I’ll never push them to do something they don’t want to do. I am patient: Getting upset with a dog is NEVER the right way to handle a situation. It is up to me to create an environment where your lil one can feel safe and happy. I listen and learn from them. I’ve found that animals are almost always trying to communicate with you, they just don’t have the benefit of saying what they need in words like we do.
